This is a video game term from "Left 4 Dead". When playing a Versus match, as a Hunter, you land a pounce from a high rooftop on a survivor that results in impact damage of 20+ to achieve a "Dream Pounce".

Get the Dream Pounce mug.In the video game "Left 4 Dead", Catting is when somebody splits away from the team and runs for the saferoom. When somebody "Cats", they stop at nothing to make it to the saferoom. This includes disregarding fallen teammates, dodging Tanks, and hiding.
