A Charreada is the Mexican equivilant of a rodeo. The cowboys, called " Charros", show off their horsemanship and compete. Birthplace considered to be the state of Jalisco, Mexico. The Charros are highly skilled horsemen and show off to the crowd. The best charreadas are found in small pueblos. Lots of times there will be a live band playing Banda/Mariachi music. La Charreada is the national sport of Mexico, contrary to what most people think, it's not soccer.
