SAM Turrets, or Surface-to-Air Missile Turrets, are effective ways to take down enemy aircraft from the ground.
The first mention in history of a surface to air missile was by inventor Dr. Gustav Rasmus in 1931, in which a missile would home in on an aircraft by sound, with intentions to destroy the aircraft. Development of surface-to-air missiles began in Nazi Germany during late World War II with explosive missiles that seek and destroy any aircraft within range. nitial performance goals were target intercept at a horizontal range of 10 miles and 30,000 feet altitude, with a 300 to 600 pound explosive warhead for a 30 to 70 percent kill probability. Heavy ship losses due to Kamikaze attacks during the Battle of Okinawa provided additional incentive for guided missile development.
Modern SAM weapons are more mobile than they were during World War II. Most SAM Missiles are mounted on tanks, ships, trucks, submarines, and even carried by infantrymen. They aren't cheep, but they are effective.

A sniper rifle used by the United States Armed Forces. It is also a sniper rifle in both Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2. In both games, the weapon has very large clip size and very high damage. Also famous for its out-of-control recoil.

The Remington 700 bolt-action sniper rifle is one of the oldest sniper rifles to be used in modern combat. Invented in 1962, this impressive sniper rifle has played a huge part in the War on Terror. This weapon has also been used in several video games, such as Modern Warfare 2. This weapon scores well on Accuracy, Damage, and Range. Since this weapon is a bolt-action rifle, it scores low on fire rate. This gun is also very long, so it is not very easy to move around with. It scores low on mobility.

A saying used when playing multiplayer in Call of Duty. It is usually said after you get killed by someone who is better than you. Usually used as an excuse for sucking........

The name of a map in Call of Duty: Black Ops. This map is the smallest map in the game, so it does have some diehard fans. Definitely the most popular map in the game. With gamplay with a good mix of CQB and medium range combat, this map has all the action expected.
