Blue Tarp Republicans
Republican party members in the Panhandle of Florida, Puerto Rico, Texas, etc. who are now homeless because of the lack of relief after hurricanes. This element of the party will likely grow significantly if global climate change continues to increase the number of high-intensity hurricanes and tornadoes, and as relief aid diminishes.

stepfamily
A family where one or both parents have a genetically related child that is not genetically related to the other spouse. In some cases, both parents may have one or genetically related children that are not genetically related to the other spouse. The stepfamily designation parents may be discontinued to be used if the child or children have been adopted by the non-biological parent.
Children may have a relationship or in joint custody with both biological parents, meaning visitation rights or have a joint custody agreement where a child lives with one biological parent at a specific time, but they may only live with one biological parent at a specific time.
A stepfamily only occurs when there is a genetically unrelated parent. However, the use of the term may be discontinued if all the children of the family have been adopted legally by the non-biological parent.
A simple stepfamily is where only one of the spouses has a genetically related preexisting child or children and the other spouse does not. If the child or children have been adopted by the non-genetically related parent the stepfamily may be referred to as a family.
A complex or blended stepfamily occurs when both parents have biologically unrelated children at the start of the family. However, a simple stepfamily can become complex or blended when the two parents have a biologically related child in addition to the one or more child that is biologically unrelated to one of the parents.

I grew up in a stepfamily with one full sister and one halfsister, and one full brother and one halfbrother. I did not have a stepbrother until my father divorced my mother and married a woman with a son from a previous marriage.

sucking out "evil spirits" defense
A defense this is used by pastors who use oral sex during exorcisms to extract “evil spirits” and “demons” from troubled church members. It is used mostly on men by male pastors but technically could be used by any exorcist on any gender. Because it is a religious practice for which no detailed account in the bible on record, it is very hard to explain in religious terms how the process works by a pastor. However, one should not be confused such gallant efforts with sexual assault, aggravated assault, sexual battery, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress, misrepresentation and gross negligence. The method is clearly not a guarantee as some "evil spirit" and or "demons" may be pretty dam pissed off about someone trying to dislodge them and try to retaliate by taking advantage of the fact that the process is so hard to explain.
The Judge and hopefully the jury just sat there in disbelief as the defense presented the - sucking out "evil spirits" defense.

excessive wealth disorder
A dysfunctional condition created when those of extreme wealth such as the 0.1% use their power and enablers to disproportional influence beholden politicians to generate highly distorted institutional policies that unfairly favor those with the highest concentrations of wealth at expense of society as a whole. This is especially true when they use their power to hurt those most in need. An example, of such a policy, maybe to borrow a trillion and a half during an economic boom to give a tax break to the wealthiest of wealthy. While at the same time eliminating much of the safety net and greatly increasing the cost of higher education for the middle class during times of most need.
The methods they use to get what they want include, but are not limited to:
1. Pure Corruption and bribery.
2. Semi-legal Corruption and cronyism.
3. Rigging political institutions to do their bidding.
4. Election security and all types of contributions.
5. Setting the election agenda for politicians based on divisive issues, then make them do the bidding of the rich when win.
6. Rigging the election system.
7. Selective enforcement and interpretation of the law. Create legal barriers for the poor.

Excessive wealth disorder biggest problem is not that it preserves and protects those with wealth, it is that the preferred method is to promote unfair advantages and subsidies and often environmental destruction. Often they promote dysfunctional and hostile government practices to assure citizens do not go to the government for solutions.
