A pretty cool west coast state.
- Not everything is a picture perfect beach like MTV wants you to believe. They have ghettos, deserts, boring suburbs, just like the rest of america. However I've been to La Jolla Beach, San Diego and the water was beautiful, so I'm not saying there are no good beaches, I'm saying that that there is more to the state than beaches.
- I don't get why people from Cali brag about how "ghetto" their state is. Being ghetto isn't a good thing, it means you are more likely to be killed, get an std, and be poor. But a lot of rappers come from California, tupac,dre, snoop dog, e-40, mac dre, etc. so they have contributed to the hip-hop industry
- Not everyone is hot. Yes, there are very beautiful people living in California but be realistic, around 30 million people live there, do you think that every last one of them is hot? Especially since a large number of them are little kids, old people, and fat people.
- I don't get why we have this East Coast Vs. West coast thing. How bout we accept the facts that we have different styles but we both offer a lot of good things? I was born in New York and I don't hate the west coast that would stupid. How can you hate a place just becuase it's not where you live? When people say the East Coast sucks, they're dissing states from Maine to Florida, so your basically dissing America which if your from the west coast is your country as well.
- Yes Illegal immigration is a problem but it's still a problem in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Florida and other states to. I live in New Jersey and we have the same problem so it's not California. Also don't be so harsh, yes Illegal should be documented and put on goverment records but if they wanna work, become Americans, and support their family than good for them.
- Lots of cool cities, San Fran, Oakland, Los Angeles, San Diego.
So overall I love California as a state.

The worst movie ever.
- The first 30 minutes of the movie is small talk. You have to late a long time before something happens.
- There's random points in the story where it just flashes back to a previous day without any explanation
- They try to make it look like the whole thing is being shot from a video camera so the screen randomly swings back and forth making your neck sore.
- There are random explosions, screaming, and sounds that give you a headache, after 25 min of random explosions you get annoyed/and bored.
- No one ever explains what the monster is or why it's attacking Manhattan.
- The story has no plot, all you know is a monster is attacking the city, that's all you will ever know.
- The ending sucks, you don't know if they die, or why anything happened, it's like they cut it short cause they were low on budget or something

I'm american and I know that London is the capital of England not vice versa. Most of us aren't idiots that's just a ignorant stereotype. But anyway London is basically the Manhattan of England. Extremely expensive, good eating, good shopping, history, etc. Basically it is a must see city.
Us "Yanks" aren't stupid or ignorant as the media makes us look. Give us a chance. Yes 97% of us know, London is the capital of England. If I asked a Englishmen what the capital of the state of Louisiana was, would he know? Maybe, maybe not the point is we both don't know a lot about each other's culture.

A genre of music that is stereotyped way too much.
There is a HUGE DIFFERENCE between MTV Rap and true rap.
Crappy, artists like 50 cent, soulja boy, hurricane chris, D4L, Dem Franchize Boyz are all MTV rap artists. They have no real talent, their lyrics suck, and they have no vocal talent. Don't judge rap by these crappy acts, real rap takes skill and intelligence. True rap artists are, Rakim, Wu-tang Clan, Tupac, Gangstarr, Eminem, Chamillonaire, etc. They actually have lyrical talent, they are clever, and contribute to the hip-hop industry.
Rap can be broken down into sub-genres based on where it where it was created. Crunk,created in Atlanta, played through out the south. Chopped N' Screwed, originiated in Texas is when a DJ slows down a record and muxes it. Hip-Hop was born in NYC, Harlem, The Bronx, Brookyln, Queens, all have there fair share of rappers. Hip-Hop focuses more on the poetry aspect and is used to reflect live in an urban enviroment. Hyphy is from The Bay Area, Northern California. Oakland, Vallejo, San Jo, San Fran, Berkly, Richmond, etc. all part of the Bay. Hyphy is about going crazy and not caring what people think. Gangstar rap is from southern California, Los Angeles and Compton. It is more agressive and focuses on life in the hood. Chicago, Detroit, and other midwestern cities have contributed to rap as well. ******REMEMBER******** there are many many different types of rap, and MTV IS NOT RAP.
