destroyed

A common metaphor used in forums, blogs and chatrooms to describe a follow-up state of "destructive" laughter. It means to get so stupified and overwhlemed by a comment, reply, joke or jargon that it ultimately "destroys" you with humor.

Person A: Aw, man, you have jury duty? That sucks, dude.

Person B: Yea...

Person A: You better hope they don't summon you!

Person B: Oh, they won't. I can see things before they actually happen. I'm gonna start singing chinese chants and drop to the floor in seizure. Just call me Miss Cleo.

This term denotes face value; meaning to "take off" and take something (an idea, remark or concept) without any type of consideration or feelings pertaining to.
