Wrong place at the wrong time

What you say when something goes very bad. Sometimes used as an excuse to get out of trouble.
I didn't kill that girl! I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Q101

Chicago's Alternative. Created 1992, 101.1 on the dial. Played some great music. In the later years it did have a problem with overplaying certain songs, but always knew when to surprise listeners with great songs they hardly play.

In June 2011, Randy Michaels, former CEO of Chicago-based Tribune Co. purchased the station (along with another Chicago based station 97.9 The Loop) and announced plans to turn the format into a News-Talk station on August 1st. However, all normal programming stopped on July 14, with former DJs returning and many older songs rarely played anymore being played. The final show ended just after midnight, with music being played without DJs until July 18.
Q101 was a fantastic station. Fuck Randy Michaels for killing it for something stupid like a talk station.

Christmas Eve Openers

A family that opens their Christmas presents on Christmas Eve night as opposed to Christmas morning. Usually done in families with no young kids that believe in Santa Claus and/or cannot wait for the next morning.
I spent christmas break with my girlfriend's family and saw that they're Christmas eve openers since they have no kids under 11.

AC/DC

Legendary Classic Rock band, a major staple of Hard Rock, with a small touch of Heavy Metal (you seriously expect me to believe "Thunderstruck" isn't Metal?). Lead by the powerful guitar work of Angus Young with the raw, powerful vocals of Brian Johnson (Bon Scott was the leader of the band until his death in 1980 from alcohol poisoning (or something like it)). Notable songs include "Dirty Deeds done dirt cheap", "Highway to Hell", "Back in Black", "Hells Bells", "Thunderstruck", and most recently "Rock N Roll Train".
Long live AC/DC!!! \m/

Snaggletooth

Often called "war-pig", the intentionally ugly but extremely iconic mascot of heavy metal legends Motorhead.
Snaggletooth is as famous as the Misfits' crimson ghost or The Rolling Stones' lips logo.

Question Marked Out

When your internet browser doesn't load properly and several-if not all-pictures are replaced with a mini question mark.
I want to go on Facebook right now but everything is question marked out.

militant suburbanite

A person, often an adult in their 40s or 50s, who resides in any suburb of a major city and holds the firm belief everything they and their family need is in their suburb and others surrounding it and rarely, if ever, venture into the core city, either out of fear of being a victim of a crime (even if they live near a city with low crime rates) or out of contempt for the cities mostly liberal/open-minded view points that clash with their staunch conservative ideas.

Militant suburbanites are not very common in communities within 15 miles of the core city and make up less than half a metro area's population, but they are not common to spot, as they feel the need to conform to whatever their neighbors and/or coworkers are doing. Militant Suburbanites that do venture into the city usually tend to stick to the most crowded areas of the city and will avoid any form of public transportation.
There are three levels of Militant Suburbanite:

Level 1-most willing to venture into a core city, though only do so for certain occasions, usually being sporting events, some concerts and conventions/trade shows/conferences, travel (driving through in a car, heading to the airport, etc.) and work, if their job is in the city. All other entertainment and shopping they feel can be done in the suburbs.

Level 2-will venture into the core city from time to time, but usually only for work and travel

Level 3-rarest of all. Is absolutely not willing to venture into the core city at all. They will go out of their way to not find a job there and will even refuse to drive through there on the highway.
