I was sick at home hacking loogies, I could not go out that night.

I know I had a bad cold when I was hacking loogies in many colors. Forcing fluids and chicken soup today.

When someone acts mean, bitchy or out of control. Has no control of themselves, no forethought. Inconsiderate person.

numbing out

Is a psychology/ recovery term, when someone is procrastinating, isolating themselves, and going nowhere. Being stalled and not taking care of business.

I should've solved the problem, but I was just numbing out, I really need to do something!

whatyoucall 

What your mother says when she wants to gab on and on, and is thinking of more things to say, but doesn't want you to talk or butt in yet. A pidgin english (Hawaiian slang) filler word, like UHHH...!

"I went to Malia's house, and whatyoucall ... she wasn't home, but that's okay with me, you know what I mean? Whatyoucall... blah, blah, blah

shaka 

A Hawaiian greeting with thumb out, and pinky finger, as you shake it. Shows other people that you have been to, grew up, or know about Hawaii and how "cool" it is.

President Obama gave the Shaka sign at the inaugural parade. He is from Hawaii, he's my homey!
The camera man on the news gets people from the community to show the shaka sign, and you get to be on the evening news.
