A Spanish term used by Hondurans that means the "illness of laziness". Hondurans say huevitis or also hueva which both mean lazy. This term may also be used in neighboring countries of Honduras.

A Honduran term used to call a woman a liar. This word comes from paja which means lie. Use pajero for men.

Chele

A Honduran term for a person of white skin. Many may confuse this term with wero or guero but it is different because wero is used for a person with light skin and blonde hair. Chele can be used for anyone of light skin regardless of their hair color. For women use Chela. This term may also be used in many other Hispanic countries especially in Central America.

Conchuda

A Honduran word that is used when a woman takes advantage of a situation. For men use Conchudo.

Una palabra Hondureña que se le dice a alguien que se aprovecha de los demás.

"Esa Bessy me agarró el vestido vos.. es una conchuda". "apúrate vos no seas conchuda maje".
