Tin Foil Hat

Tin Foil Hat, also tinfoil hat, or tfh, a general term for a piece of headgear made from one or more sheets of tin foil, aluminium foil, or other similar material. Some people wear the hats in the belief that they act to shield the brain from such influences as electromagnetic fields, or against mind control and/or mind reading. The concept has become a popular stereotype and term of derision; in Internet culture, the phrase serves as a byword for paranoia.

Gay Head

A town located on Martha's Vineyard in Dukes County, Massachusetts, USA. The population was 344 at the 2000 census. It is known for its beautiful clay cliffs and quiet natural serenity, which has become less common in the heavily populated northeastern United States. The clay cliffs/beach are one of the few nude beaches left in the U.S. More recently, it has become celebrated as a center of Wampanoag culture and a center of pride and tradition amongst members of the tribe, who make up a majority of the town's residents.

On our last trip to the Vineyard, we spent the day swimming at Gay Head.

bathtub jesus

Decorative lawn ornament, popular through much of New england, where an old cast-iron bathtub is buried standing up, halfway into the ground, and a statue of Jesus is placed inside. Frequently seen near or with a lawn ball. Associated with white trash.

I saw a great bathtub jesus in Pawtucket last week.

Any unplanned event that causes the closing of one lane of traffic for 30 minutes or more, as opposed to a planned event like road construction, which is planned separately. Colloquial to Southern California

As I was stuck in traffic due to a SigAlert on the 405, I glanced up at the SUV in front of me (driven by a blonde bimbo, wouldn’t you know it) and saw a bumper sticker that read, “I want to be Barbie — the bitch has everything!”
