main squeeze 

One's boyfriend, girlfriend or spouse.

This humorous phrase dates back to the 1800s, when it referred to a powerful or important person. In the 1970s, it began to refer to romantic partners.
1) I'd like you to meet Holly, my main squeeze.

2) The story is about a young man and his main squeeze, a cute coed named Nancy.

paper pusher 

An office worker; one who works in an office and deals with forms and reports all day; one whose work is dull and without meaning.

Office workers deal with a lot of paper -- forms, reports, letters, memos, etc. And some workers simply move all that paper from one place to another, pushing the paper from desktop to drawer and back again.
1) I'm not sure exactly what my brother does, but I know he's a paper pusher at some huge, faceless company.

2) Ted retired to Florida after putting in 30 years as a paper pusher at Greedie Corp.

climb the corporate ladder 

To move up in the hierarchy of a corporation.

A 'ladder' is a device with steps used to 'climb' (or move) up and down, so the 'corporate ladder' is the series of steps people go through as they gain more power in a corporation and 'rise to the top' - from file clerk up to president.
You have to work very hard if you want to climb the corporate ladder.
