Used when someone wants to pin you down to a particular date when something will be completed and you don't want to give an exact date. It is surprising how often people don't notice right away they've been bamboozled.

jubberlator

One that jubberlates, as:
An electronic or mechanical device for the performance of physics jubberlation.
A person who operates such a machine or otherwise makes jubberlations.
A set of mental tables used to aid in jubberlations.
1: An expert at jubberlation or at operating jubberlation machines--reckoner, figurer, estimator, jubberlator.
2: A small machine for mathematical jubberlations jubberlating machine.

2. Recline, as in a reclining chair. "Kick back and put your feet up," which means "Relax!"

To be deliberately obscure or cryptic when telling a person something or answering a question. Origin: Kosh is the name of an alien on the science-fiction series Babylon 5. His speech was as described previously. The term has been used in the past by people on the internet familiar with the show.
"Stop koshing the question!"
"Just quit koshing it and just give me a straight answer!"
