Legacy Content

An item in a video game that can no longer be obtained through normal means, but nonetheless still exists.

Named for energy weapons with the explosive legendary mod in Fallout 76, which no longer spawn due to a glitch that makes the explosions do far more damage than they are supposed to, resulting in insanely overpowered guns that can mow down almost any non-boss enemy in less than two seconds. Eventually, they were nicknamed "Legacies."
The lengths hardcore gamers will go to in order to get their hands on legacy content on their favorite games is unreal.

"Here's $50, now give me my virtual weapon that will make me absolutely unstoppable," said no one ever...no one except these people.

Falling Out

An acrimonious quarrel or argument between two people that usually results in estrangement. The two people in question must always be extremely close; i.e best friends or family members. It can also be more than two, although that doesn't happen very often.

There are two possible outcomes of a falling-out:

-The friends will no longer be on speaking terms for awhile, but eventually reconcile.

Or...
-The friends will no longer be on speaking terms. Period.
"Did you hear Alan and Blake are no longer friends?"

"What? I thought they were inseparable!"

"Not really...they had a falling out after finding out that Alan's girlfriend was cheating on him with Blake."

Golden Earring Syndrome

AKA "We Cannot Go On Without You."

Golden Earring Syndrome is when a group immediately stops existing when a very important member is permanently out of commission, usually due to an abrupt death or illness.
Golden Earring Syndrome was named for the band Golden Earring, which disbanded in February 2021 after nearly sixty years when it was revealed that the lead singer, George Kooymans, had been diagnosed with ALS two months prior.

Chuck Norris

Chuck Norris used to be a badass, but now he's a homophobe.

Urban Dictionary Content Guidelines

The least enforced rules in the history of rules.
According to Urban Dictionary Content Guidelines, hate speech is not allowed. That's a lie.

If hate speech isn't allowed, then why is every definition of Donald Trump nothing more than just saying that he's a POS, and not actually meaningfully describing him?

Hyperacusis

A rare, debilitating hearing disorder that is characterized by an extreme sensitivity to sound. Normal sounds are perceived as too loud, while very loud sounds (such as a crowd cheering at a concert, or a very loud talker), are extremely painful and sometimes distorted.

People with hyperacusis also tend to have tinnitus as well, which worsens with loud sounds. Talk about a Double Whammy!

Hyperacusis often comes on suddenly, and it is not curable. However, it can be reduced to the point that it's barely noticeable.
"My mate has hyperacusis, and his mom talks so loud that I can hear her loud and clear all the way across the house. I can only wince at how painful it must be for him."

Norman Lloyd

Norman Lloyd (Born Norman Nathan Perlmutter) was an American actor. Born on November 8, 1914, Lloyd was the was the longest-lived actor of all time -- and also the longest-active actor of all time -- with a career that lasted from the age of eight until his death on May 11, 2021 at the ripe old age of 106.
The last film Norman Lloyd appeared in before his death was Trainwreck. He was 100 years old at the time of its release.

That's pretty crazy.
