Extraterritorial Rights

A funny phrase from Ace Attorney Investigations, originating from the final boss's repeated use of his special rights as an ambassador to do whatever the fuck he wants (even commit murder...twice) and face no repercussions.
"We have irrefutable evidence that you committed two murders and are the head of a smuggling ring!"

"Extraterritorial Rights."

"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-"

Ted Nugent

A really awesome musician. Don't let the fact that he's a godawful human stop you from enjoying him.
Ted Nugent may be a racist, draft-dodging pedophile, but you can't deny he's absolutely outstanding.

Apples and Oranges

A comparison between two things that aren't exactly similar in the first place.

Apples and Oranges only have one thing in common: They're fruits. So trying to compare them...won't work.
Stones v Beatles is another example of apples and oranges. A bluesy rock and roll band is quite a bit different from a psychedelic rock and roll band, so it's not really possible to compare them at all.

Terminal Illness

Funny definition: Airport sickness

Actual definition: An incurable illness which is guaranteed to progressively worsen until it causes the sufferer's death.
A terminal illness usually affects the brain (Dementia, Alzheimer's Disease, CJD/vCJD, Huntington's Disease, ALS, etc.)

However, this is not always the case.

Hypochondria

A common symptom of anxiety, hypochondria is an odd condition characterized by being excessively paranoid about your health. People with hypochondria (hypochondriacs) often freak out when they exhibit symptoms that even slightly mimic a deadly (or potentially deadly) disease in any form, leading to a generally reduced quality of life.

Hypochondria should not be confused with thanatophobia, the fear of death, although they often coexist.
Despite the negative consequences it has, people with hypochondria often live longer because they usually adopt very healthy lifestyles to avoid falling ill and are much quicker to seek medical attention when something seems off. Though it often turns out to be nothing when they do, the saying goes that even a broken block is right twice a day.

Manfred Mann

1. A moderately popular English rock band from the 1960s.
2. The keyboardist (not vocalist) in said band. He now leads his own solo band known as his "Earth Band."
"I love Manfred Mann"

"The band or the person?"

I can't talk

A humorous phrase uttered by someone who is trying to speak but gets tongue-tied in the process.
"You know, I thought- Unintelligible"

"Jesus! I can't talk!"
