A genre of films that includes cars, sometimes post-apocalyptic or dystopian settings, and also lots of car chases. Also, this includes rival biker gangs and motorists struggling to survive in a harsh environment.

The Mad Max movies are good examples of the speedpunk genre.

A person who voluntarily lives in his or her car. This is becoming more common in the United States especially after the 2016 Election.

Also called a vehicle dweller, or car dweller, is a person who lives out of a car or other vehicle. Vehicle dwellers are considered to be homeless persons in most parts of the United States. Although technically, they are not homeless, since the very definition of a home is a permanent place where one lives.
