When a plaintiff doesn't have a good case, acts panicky, and freaks out for lack of any other option by filing a frivolous lawsuit, hoping to whoop up public sympathy.
"If they'd had a case, they would've filed for an injunction. Instead, they went all legal jazz hands with a frivolous lawsuit they'll never win."

Nocluetocracy
When a political system is so corrupt, that people who are calamitously unqualified get to be in charge of really important things, usually on the basis of past financial support.

[Party Cannibal]
A person who is so entrenched in his specific beliefs that he would rather splinter his own political party, making an election loss more likely, than work together with his own side. Party cannibals are political animals who feast on other party members.
