Someone who still hasn't thought of anything original to put on their ceiling after 20 or 30 something years, just the same stars thei brother had on his ceiling as a kid.
The girl was always an imitation of somebody else. She tried to make their lives what she felt like hers was, her version of hell (though hell isn't even a real place).

Someone that never quit putting the shit you had in your room as a kid in their room as an adult.
The bubbly girl put glow in the dark stars in her room like her brother had as a kid, thinking that she wouldn't end up by herself if she did that. She thought that glow in the dark stars made somebody a likeable person. Imitation was what drove all the other things in her life that money couldn't buy and power couldn't intimidate, it always had been.

Napoleonette syndrome 

A female trying to conquer the world.
Her Napoleonette syndrome wouldn't allow her to stop claiming places she wasn't originally from as her territory or trying to own all the people that were originally from there.

Zeus didn't like it too much when people stood up to him, he hated it to the point that he would pretend to be on their side when they cleaned up the mess he made.

Zeus sounds more like a tyrant's tyrant than someone that actually loves you.
If people shouldn't worship false idols, why would they worship a statue of Zeus? That seems like the one thing people weren't allowed to question.

Zeus sounds a lot like the biblical version of God, the one designed to scare people into submission (to humans with more money than them, since gods aren't real).
Zeus sounds like a tyrant's tyrant, which is more of a human trait than any other living being.
