Shit that people swam in unharmed and unbothered, without getting sick. Shit that it is still possible to step in unharmed and unbothered without getting sick if it ends up in the shower. Nobody wants shit in their shower, especially not other people's shit, but it won't kill you any more than yours will kill them.

The online article says that most large cities with decaying sewer systems are mostly black or latino to emphasize their narrative about white flight when actually the demographics are about as close to equal as they've ever been in New York or Chicago, about a third of each city is white, a third black, and a third latino, give or take (the rest being Asian or pacific islander, and a few indians that are left), so unless someone is desperate to try and counter that people from all groups are equally represented and throw the balance off by throwing blacks and latinos together (to pit them against whites and manipulate/play all sides with the misinformation) then either life is unfair/unjust/dangerous for everybody and raw sewage can end up in your home no matter what you look like, or every side is getting exactly what they deserve and you wonder why anyone has a complaint about it. Perhaps there is no right answer, perhaps people are meant to try and question things rather than answer them.

Her first orphanage was like a vacation, they were nice to her, but her third orphanage was the one that made her fight another girl to the death for a pair of new shoes, then acted like it never happened when she went back to ask them why they did that. That wasn't the only thing to report about, that was just one of many things that went on there.

Male Interviewee- No, why?

Male Interviewer- Would you stab a guy 16 times or cut his head off in his sleep?
Female Interviewee- No.
Male Interviwer- Do you expect me to believe that?
Female Interviewee- No, I mean, not any more. There was a time when people would have believed me.

Shallow

Someone that would say or do just about anything to tread over anybody until given what they want the most (usually dollar signs and the power it can buy).

The shallow girl didn't care how many she lost or what they looked like (black, yellow, brown, white, male female, gay straight, polka dot, alien) as long as she won the golden city. She had always wanted not only the city, but to be worshipped by all as a rich and powerful deity.
