Get the Daggermug. A festival attended by all groups, black, white, and everything in between, at a time when Confederate statues were still standing, without any incidents. People were getting along better before 2020 than after the statues/history were removed.
People said nothing about the Confederate statues at the time of the Cheerwine festival, they got along fine at the time, and like the statues and businesses, the festival was taken from them.

Get the Cheerwine festivalmug. The media hyping Simone Biles for the Tokyo games actually hurt her more than it helped her. People were aware of what she accomplished, but the media overdid it a little, and didn't allow her much room to enter the Tokyo Olympics with humility, as she did in Rio when she was not as well known. Sometimes when you go back to where you began, you don't stay lost.

Disappointed that his daughter was a weak, nerdy mama's girl as a kid, her father took her to karate classes so that she could get her revenge on her siblings and the rest of the world when she grew up (though even he decided he went wrong when she started to think she was the most streetwise princess to step out of the ivory tower she usually spent most of her time in since records of that kind of thing had started being kept).

Get the Karate classesmug. A pass where nobody questions somebody and assumes they are exactly who they say they are, and do exactly what they say they do.
The cultish bubbly girl had a free pass to the town for long enough. She had grown up nearby and spent enough time there that she thought nobody there still had a right to stand up to her. She had the benefit of being from a small town nearby, which almost made her seem like someone originally from the town to newcomers and outsiders (who she didn't tell she was also an outsider, they thought she was the one to ask anything about anything getting around town, the one with the streetwise image, the one that had nothing to hide), while playing the (older generation) people that really were originally from the town (usually against each other). She was actually friendly with no one, but wanted herself to look warm and friendly to everyone she was busy as the devil playing.

Get the Free passmug. What a cop would be if he got as authoritative and hostile with a female as he routinely does with males. Males are conditioned to accept authoritative behavior and hostility from both sexes from about the time they are born, while females are taught that they are human and don't have to put up with anyone's shit (but that it's okay if other people put up with theirs).
A cop wouldn't have to kill a female to become an ex cop or go to prison over an interaction with a female civilian, all he would have to do is get as authoritative and hostile with her as he did with male civilians on a regular basis. Female lives must be worth a lot more than male lives, male lives must be junk and female lives must be critical.
