Stuck on stupid
White guys on TV show trying to guess the names of black people that black people don't even know about so that they don't look racist on TV, since they were plucked from obscurity for that reason.

Stuck on stupid
When the black girl on the TV show picks 5 black people out of obscurity because she knows that no white people are going to name them all, if any of them, and they're still saying I should know this for 5 minutes after seeing the pictures out of a sense of guilt about looking racist on TV.
She knew before the show started those guys were going to get stuck on stupid and not know what she was doing with them.

New
Not everybody has a need to make everything new or upgraded, and even if you hold nothing sacred, there would be no you without the old people you laugh at, try to make fun of, or talk endless shit about. You would just be the kid that once ran to your mother for first aid and attention you always were if you're one like that, and people don't change. Some of us knew you before you orked the job you work now, and before you developed your bullshit facade.

Fall
Fall is the time of year people start to fall for more of what the
corporate/government/healthcare/media entities and other authoritative sources tell them about the coronavirus. At least in the spring and summer, people are outside around other people for more of the day, and they can see that other people are doing fine. In fall and winter, people don't have that added sense of security, and the corporate/government/health/media entities and other authoritative sources take advantage of that unease.
