Whitewashed, someone that tries to whitewash everyone else's memories and thoughts so that they start paying attention to them here and now.
The attention seeking girl was as plain as they come, and being the narcissist that she was, thought that everyone owed her their attention, and possibly even their belongings.
The girl thought other people's lives were mundane or that they were unhappy because she was worse than beige, she was a whitewashed soul, as plain as they come.

Stunning

If anything is possible, why would anything be stunning in the true sense of the word? Stunning is an overused word.
It wasn't stunning when the team that nobody thought would win won, it was something out of the ordinary, no more, no less.
What a sports writer with an agenda won't tell their audience is that the Suns were already the team everybody thought would be dominant, stronger, and faster, and therefore it isn't stunning when they win, it's stunning when they don't, because them not winning was never likely.
The Suns did what they had to do to win, there's nothing stunning or upsetting about that. It's what people thought would happen all along. Stunning or upsetting would have bbeen what happened if the Clippers got the win, since they've never been to an NBA finals, snd though they are a good team, they weren't the team people thought of as the top team.

Chicago Cubs

The team people are thought to be insane if they root for after over a hundred years of no titles or championships, and people still root for them anyway, because winning is not the point of everything in life.
Not many other sports teams would keep people rooting for them after not winning for so many years, a lot of people would abandon a different team than the Chicago Cubs.

Stunning

Something that shocks you. An overused word these days, since writers, especially sports writers use it to describe ordinary events rather than extraordinary ones.
It would have been stunning had the Clippers won, not lost. The same way it is stunning when a team like the Cubs wins a world series instead of the same old Yankees every year, it is stunning because the Cubs were the opposite of the Yankees most of their existence, the team that hardly ever won, and were loved for the opposite reason as the Yankees.

Stunning

Something that shocks you, an overused word nowadays, kind of like awesome.
The Clippers loss to the Suns wasn't stunning to anybody, it was what people thought would happen sooner than it did. What was stunning was that they made it as far as they did, especially a team plagued by injuries.
