a weasel-y, thought-terminating phrase that is supposed to lend gravitas to a weak position in an argument. Used by doomsayers and the overly dramatic.

"Make no mistake, if you are not home by 11, you'll be grounded for a week!"

Claremont hole

A hole in a story into which sub-plots fall, forgotten forever. Taken from Chris Claremont, former writer of the X-Men, who left dozens, if not hundreds, of stories unfinished.

"How come in the TV show 'Birds of Prey', all the main characters are said to have jobs, but they never go to them and they never seem to be fired from them either?"

"Ah, their jobs fell down a Claremont hole."

Someone who thinks or speaks condescendingly to others who aren't as concerned with inches of muscle, percent body fat, Creatine, protein shakes or marathon running as s/he is.

"That guy's been staring at you for twenty minutes. You should say hi."

"Ugh. No."

"Why not? He's kinda cute."

"Look at him. I know he can't bench press his own body weight, so no thank you."

"Dude, don't be such a body fascist."

A disingenuous facial contortion that is supposed to convey an orgasmic YUMMO moment but does not vary from use to use.

"I can't believe you gave that Michael Bay movie a good review! It was terrible!"

"But I love Michael Bay movies."

"You're indiscriminate in your affections. Stop giving him Rachel Ray Face."
