Tattoos might have indicated a person's toughness in the past, but those days are long gone. Nowadays, so many people get tattoos that they don't indicate anything. Pussies get tattoos like many other people do these days. You got people nowadays who get tattoos just to look tough or to look like somebody they know, or to look like a bunch of other people with the same tattoo.
He/she got a tattoo(s) to try and get more respect than they did as a kid, back when he/she was a fuckin dork.

Get the Marionettemug. A lot of references to critical moments are made with sports. There are no critical moments in most sports games, somebody being in critical condition is a critical moment. Someone performing well under a lot of pressure where not many people would is a lot different than a critical moment.
The guy who helped his team win a ball game isn't really someone who didn't back down from a critical moment, he's just a guy that helped his team win, or didn't quit if they weren't winning, if a reference is made to a guy on a team that didn't win doing something in a critical moment.

Get the Critical momentmug. Brave people don't usually have a long life expectancy, and anybody over 35 that tells you they are brave even though they are still alive is full of shit.
It might be admirable to be brave and die before 35, but most people try to endure a little bit longer than that, even if it means being a little bit more cowardly to get there.

Get the Bravemug. Someone who doesn't really have the same access to the results of the polls that the people who tell them that their vote or bond passed or didn't pass have. From the people who say they count the ballots to the people that make the laws or pass the bonds, to them the people who vote are like sheep that blindly accept rather than question what is in their best interest.
A voter isn't somebody that the people who tell the voters they are in charge and know what is in their voters' best interest think about. Dollar signs is what they think about.

Get the Apparentmug. Showing up in a town you're not originally from looking to conquer it (whether it's done as a game or for your amusement, or some less lofty purpose) is more like a Napoleon complex than not.
He/she was saying/writing something about somebody else having a Napoleon complex and retaliation, though nobody else had brought up the subject of physical altercations but him/her (at least not yet).
