Apologies are pointless and mean nothing as long as you never acknowledge the error in your ways. Being apologetic won't bring George Floyd back, but an officer acknowledging that he/she isn't perfect or always right, even if he/she is a decent guy/ girl, and more people would get to live all the years they were meant to live, the same full life as the one that the officers will get to live.
Everybody has had some kind of error in their ways somewhere. If they were a computer, they'd have a lower rate of error, but they're not a computer, they are human and they fuck up a lot more than a computer.

Get the Errormug. Torture is physically being tortured by various methods. Emotional torture and fucking with somebody's head (psychological) is not true torture.
The guys who were put on the rack in the middle ages would find the claims of emotional torture(calling it a living hell) by people nowadays to be silly.

Get the MGMmug. A word that makes somebody who is actually introverted sound more extroverted, kind of like the word fiery. Champagne is bubbly, people bring champagne to a party.
The bubbly girl was someone people thought was the definition of an extrovert, despite living in a bubble in a way most people didnt get to live (and still claiming to be trapped inside the bubble).
