Announcers

By comparing a guy to Superman, an Announcer is really saying he has to be at one hundred percent on ever single play, or people are going to hate the guy. That's not realistic for anybody, because in reality, no matter how close somebody tries to get, they're not going to be at one hundred percent even part of the time, since one hundred percent is perfect.

Announcers aren't doing a guy a favor by comparing him to Superman, and it sounds a little bit silly to most people over age 5.

Tom Brady

A tough act to follow for any rising quarterback, absolutely, if another one does make it possible to follow (which isn't guaranteed).

Tom Brady certainly wasn't ready to fade away without the world knowing he has been a tough act to follow, both in his generation and the next.

Land bridge

Scientists came up with an explanation for why (Americas) Indians and Asians both had mostly straight dark hair, a land bridge. A few hundred years before they came up with the land bridge, they didn't even know that the New World existed, and they already have an explanation for something like that. At one time, humans were all one people from the same place (before the continents became different continents), in that sense, (Americas) Indians and Asians come from the same place. Otherwise, there's not much connection.

Sure, at one time the land might have stretched out between two different lands like dough before the sea washed it away, but there's also a lot of other things that could have happened. The land bridge is just one attempt to explain it, which is why science is meant to be taken with a grain of salt (even science related to the coronavirus).

Unemployment

There's more people angered by the job loss and threats of loss of unemployment benefits than there are people scared by the thought of losing everything. These weren't people that lost their jobs over performance or attendance at work, they lost their jobs for no reason other than a group of people made it their agenda to shut everything down.

Unemployment isn't scary, all the effort people put towards their jobs gets turned into bullshit by the same people who want everything shut down. The people who want everything shut down are as much the problem as everybody else.
