Equal 

The same. A lot of people assume that someone not respecting someone else is because of the person thinking the two of them are not equal, when really everyone is equal, yet people still have good reasons not to respect people they don't respect.

The girl claimed to believe in equality, but held nothing sacred, including what she believed in. She would never really respect anyone or anything enough to hold anything sacred, but still expected the people she thought were uptight to respect her. By saying they were uptight, she was judging them, but expected nobody to judge her. She could see their double standards and hypocrisy, but not her own. She wasn't really trying to be equal to anyone, when she wasn't trying to be somebody else, she was trying to outdo them, which meant she was trying to be better than them, not equal. She was uber competitive because she wanted to be the best, not because she wanted to be equal to everybody else. Someone who really wants to be equal to everyone else isn't uber competitive, and also isn't always desperately trying to outdo somebody else.

Tree canopy 

Some cities wouldn't be the same without their tree canopy. Central Park wouldn't be Central Park without a tree canopy. Why would somebody trade that for development, no matter what kind of dollar signs they envisioned to go with it?

Not all development is inevitable, developers can be told to go fuck themselves like anybody else. A tree canopy isn't something to take for granted.

Monster alert 

One of two alerts the sim city folks that send alerts to your phone about weather and disasters don't send you, the other being alerts about alien invasions.

Had people gotten the monster alert sooner, they might have had time to prepare instead of react.

Gripe smoke 

Griping and drama that could turn into something worse.

Percy and his/her gang would gripe at you like they were from Compton, or Southie, or at times they would almost seem like a child of a mixed marriage with a father from Compton and a mother from Southie, or a father from Southie and a mother from Compton, a product of both Southie and Compton, or whichever environment made them look tougher if people didn't buy them mixed together and thought this person sounds too rough to be true. Percy would make threats about the kind of gripe smoke that people that fucked with him/her would get.

Smoke 

Drama usually, possibly worse.

Percy- You want smoke til I show up at your doorstep with it.
Other guy- Well Percy, if you're going to show up with supplies I already have and I'm not going to buy, supplies that I can go and get myself, then why show up at all? Is it really as much of a treat for you as you tell everybody else it is?
