1) You again? Wow, what an unpleasant suprise, this is so unexpected!
2) Donald Trump's first election was an unpleasant surprise, so you would think his second one would also be one when/if he did it again.

By saying Derek Chauvin is not responsible, the justice system is really saying that one guy's image matters more than thousands of lives. If their lives don't matter, neither does his image.
Derek Chauvin is the reason George Floyd is dead, a spade is a spade. The Derek Chauvin trial doesn't change reality.

Somebody that moves to your neighborhood from theirs, then gets embarrasssed by your presence there because they thought they owned the place.
I knew you before you moved to my neighborhood, had a car, a house, or a job, or claimed to be a seasoned, award-winning somebody here, back when you ran to your mother and had her have your father threaten (or woop) somebody instead of the police. So you can shove your awards, your experiences, and your threats about having somebody locked up in a jail or a mental institution right up your ass and get out. Arrogance doesn't come from your family.

A reopening that makes people feel a sense of morale boost, like they are the ones benefitting from stores, businesses, and restaurants not being shut down anymore. Somebody starts a petition and all of a sudden everything is open again, yet nobody is questioning whether the one who started the petition might have had something to do with everything shutting down in the first place.
The girl was the one to start the petition that reopened everything. That is a lot of power for one person to have. Wouldn't it take the same kind of power to have everything shut down as well? It seems more like a Machiavellian reopening than a true morale boost.

Most people are not really gregarious, most people like a balance of space and company. People who claim they are gregarious all the time are full of shit, and usually have lots of people around them at all times as a crutch, since on their own they're weak people.

Roy Cooper isn't frustrated, he doesnt have to be frustrated with anything, he's a governor. At least part of his job involves frustrating other people, not getting frustrated himself.
Roy Cooper is trying to persuade people in his state that he's as frustrated as they are, but they are not the governor, just like he is not one of them, he's the governor. He's no more on their side than the media or any other corporate entity.

If your country is not a free country in a pandemic, it's not really an entirely free country, you're just being told it is a free country by the entity that controls your country.
Telling people they live in a free country is a good way to get them to comply with an agenda and turn them into obedient puppets. Nothing is free, you have to fight to get something.
