Licks is a Jamaican term for hitting or slapping someone or to dance around clicking your fingers in an excitable manner

A Jamaican man jumps with joy and clicks his fingers shouting "Licks.....Licks......Licks" after witnessing an associate or friend having been slapped or hit usually in a friendly manner
