The new Fear of Flying, where people on a plane are inches apart and, once seated beside someone coughing, there is nowhere to escape.

Advised to distance himself from other humans, needing to get to Chicago, he assessed the flight risk and decided to drive.

demon-stration

A peaceful protest which is infiltrated and manipulated by opposing forces, to demonize the original gathering by instigating violence.

The BLM protest was civil and calm. Suddenly an outsider appeared, threw a rock at police, a fire was set, the cops sprayed tear gas and in minutes it became a demon-stration.

Involuntary isolation for people not intelligent enough to protect their own and others' well-being.

He'd ignored every warning, had gone to the packed bar, the beach and the barber, was coughing and feverish, and now found himself in mandatory morontine.

When sanitizer, soap, water, more sanitizer and more soap become addictive. Compulsive hand-washing

She'd started with 'Happy Birthday' as she scrubbed, but now found herself singing 'Stairway to Heaven', the extended concert version, guitar solos and all, unable to control her binge washing.

Savage Breast

The thing music has charms to soothe, not savage beast, as commonly misquoted, perhaps in an effort to derail the adolescent giggles of boys aged 7 to 70.

From The Mourning Bride, a poem by William Congreve, 1697:

O. Z.

O. Z. stands for being overzealous, a brain disorder. Those afflicted do not know when to stop - planning a party down to the most minute detail, decorating a room or giving an endless stream of gifts on Christmas when a few would more than suffice. Frequently mis-diagnosed in children as industriousness or generosity, by adulthood it's incurable.

"I'll just tidy up", she said, heading for the kitchen, "a few minutes." Hours later she emerged, having rewashed the clean dishes, glasses and cutlery, scrubbed the floor, wiped, re-wiped and sterilized the counters, thrown out loads of perfectly good food to neaten the fridge and arranged their Urban Dictionary mugs in alphabetical order, her O. Z. out of control.

smeyeling

An expression of warmth and happiness, conveyed only by the eyes, when one's lower face is masked.

Although most of her face was covered, I could see she was smeyeling at me.
