Red Dawn warnings 

Code name for an early email chain among a prominent group of medical experts, sounding the alarm about coronavirus. For months it was ignored by the president, who said of the pandemic, "It will disappear as if by magic".
If the president had not refused to listen to the Red Dawn warnings, the pandemic could have been much more effectively controlled in the United States.

boredumb 

An unjustifiable excuse to take risks with your own life and the lives of others, during stay-at-home orders, in the coronaviral pandemic.
Her family begged her to stay home, but she finally flipped and went to the grocery store out of sheer boredumb, figuring what the hell.

vaccillation 

Uncertainty about the value and wisdom of getting a vaccination.
Most people she knew were getting it, but she'd heard one story of a child being paralyzed for life, and she was in a state of vaccillation about whether to allow the immunization for her daughter.

Psychodemic 

Psychological symptoms brought on by solitary lockdown during an epidemic.
Sleepless, edgy, self-critical and burned out from the abstractions of her computer and phone, she knew these feelings were psychodemic and hoped they would dissipate once freed from her confinement.

Pandemonium 

The capital of Hell in John Milton's epic poem Paradise Lost: "Pandemonium, the High Capital, of Satan and his Peers".
Humanity collapsing into chaos from a rampant and uncontrollable pandemic.
Almost broken by another 12-hour nursing shift, she could foresee a world devastated by the pandemic, ungoverned civilization - what was left of it - thrown into Pandemonium.

Missing Definition 

A word or phrase on Urban Dictionary which enjoys a fine and happy life, generating views and many thumbs up and down. It enters the language triumphantly, good people everywhere now using it. Then, in an instant, the word or phrase mysteriously vanishes from Urban Dictionary, and no one seems to know why.
He hunted for the missing definition. It was gone from his own pages. For a day or two it still showed up in the search bar, and in a Google search, then went completely AWOL. The author, deciding to re-submit it, got the "oops" message - the definition already existed - even though it didn't. Paging Sherlock Holmes.

new social norm 

Once, the collective representation of acceptable group conduct, now the nullification of group conduct.
In spring of 2020, people the world over were forbidden to gather, instructed to stay away from each other at specified minimum distances. The new social norm during the age of coronavirus was that there was no social norm.
