A conversation between adversaries. And adversarial conversation. A fundamental and sustained disagreement.

The subject turned to the storming of the Capitol, the notion of fraudulent ballots cast by illegal Space Aliens, dead, liberal aliens at that, and to the Voting Rights Bill. It had begun as a conversation but swiftly became an adversation.

Anxression

A reasonable response to an uncertain moment, compounded of depression and anxiety.

Locked at home by herself, her job gone, the world outside her door vacated beyond recognition, she felt it appropriate to be drowning in anxression. There was not one goddamned thing to be pathologized in not getting out of bed, keeping the lights off and eating ice cream all day.

A choice between earth and sky, light and heavy, the option to float or to sink.

One of the women was laughing, smiling, so enjoying the moment that her feet barely touched the ground, while the other had a negative word for everything, her brows clenched, seeming cemented in place. It was clearly an ether/ore choice and he went toward the light.

omniincidence

All things happening at the same time.

An opening and broadening of the concept of coincidence.

It had seemed a coincidence to board the plane and to find, through conversation, that he was seated beside the brother of the musician he was traveling to L.A. to record with. Years later, as the three of them finished their run at the Beacon, they laughed, agreeing that the concerts, the flight, the albums and everything in between were one, an omniincidence, events without sequence.
