Opportunity Roulette

Used in a business context. Contacting a lead that you think may be open to the idea of purchasing the products or services your business sells, but having no idea whether they are in a position to do so right now, or if your business is even in the conversation.
I'm going to spend the morning playing opportunity roulette with the lost leads from last month.

Mind Cast

Like a "brain dump" but more purposeful and specific.
What was your plan for event invitees? This is my mind cast:
- Create invites
- Assign salespeople to industries
- Set an expected number of invites sent by X date

- All non-responded invites followed up within seven days
- Final number collated in four week
Sound okay?

Ninjaing

To behave (or attempt to behave) in a ninja-esque manner, with agility, skills, subtlety, and stealth.
I was ninjaing my way around the house in the dark because I didn't want to wake the kids.

Thought-smithing

Spending time and effort curating a thought or series of thoughts.
Husband: "I am thinking about building the kids a treehouse."
Wife: "We don't have any suitable trees and you are not very good at construction."
Husband: "I know, I am thought-smithing the idea to find a viable solution."
A much more efficient way for saying "You're welcome".
Trent: "Hey Dennis, thanks for helping me move last weekend."
Dennis: "Yawelcs."

Easy-casual

A fashion style that is based on comfort and ease, and has minimal bearing on image or identity.
Person A: "What should I wear to your party?"
Person B: "Whatever you like, it's easy-casual."
Person A: "What's easy-casual?"
Person B: "It's clothing choices based on comfort and ease. It's pretty new. I can understand why you haven't heard of it yet."
Person A: "Yeah right, you should add it to Urban Dictionary."
Person B: ...

Cinderella Syndrome

Hitting a certain time each day when you just crash.
Someone: "Are you okay? You seem a bit agitated."
Someone else: "Yeah I'm okay, cinderella syndrome after 3pm."
