When the government in power decides to buy votes in marginal electorates by using a tax payer money community initiative that should be going to needy areas (Eligible clubs) to enable sporting field upgrades, but diverts the money to affluent areas (Ineligible clubs) that are not really needing the upgrades urgently, in order to gain more votes at election time.

In Australia, the platypus is at risk of extinction, not actually extinct, but a Protected Species and can't be touched. Some people in the Australian workforce fuck-up lots of times and management always turns a "blind-eye"! We refer to those incompetent people as a Platypus! They are a Protected Species!

When you purchase a cheap item from an eBay seller claiming to have local stock in your country and one week postage, but the item does not arrive for three months because it's really coming from Mainland China.
That part I ordered for you need is still not here and now it's urgent - I will have to source a more expensive unit locally today because I have been Chinabayed with the original ordered part!

Evolved from a slang or previously derogatory term in Australia - wog, meaning migrant. For the children of these migrants that have been born in Australia, they have evolved the term wog to Wogoriginal (similar to Aboriginal) in a comical sense and it cancels the offensiveness of the word wog.
