Subject Matter Ignoramus: used to describe a manager or executive who supposedly knows "how to lead" but knows nothing about the actual business or activities he or she is supposed to manage. Pronounced "smigh" -- rhymes with "sigh".

Opposite of subject matter expert (SME).
