Colin Kaepernick

The most courageous athlete that the world has seen since Muhammad Ali! Colin Kaepernick is a talented quarterback who possesses great leadership and morality. He currently has a vegan diet and works out consistently to stay in good shape, and it's just unfortunate that the NFL decided to Whiteball him for exercising his First Amendment rights, and for not standing for a national anthem that was written by a racist slave owner and celebrates the killing of slaves in it's third stanza (may Frances Scott Key rest in piss). Colin Kaepernick (no matter what ignorant people say about him) made history, and will now ALWAYS be known as an iconic hero within the Black community. From donating over 1 million dollars to different charities, to meeting with the families of the victims of police brutality, to giving back to the homeless, etc, what he's done for our community is just outstanding.

Egypt

The original/indigenous name Egypt is "Kemet". Kemet means "The Black Land", in reference to the rich soil in Egypt. This was one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, civilization of all time. It was a structured society with tools such as written language (Hieroglyphics) and mathematics, which enabled them to record and develop ideas. It was also known for it's agricultural society and it's architecture, with some of it's biggest accomplishments being the Great Pyramid Of Giza, The Sphinx, and the Step Pyramid (which was constructed by Imhotep). Some of the greatest Africans of all time came from Kemet, including Rameses, Queen Hatshepsut, Queen Nefertiti, Thutmose, Imhotep, Menes (the founder of the First Dynasty), King Piye, Taharqa, etc. Unfortunately, mainstream society still refuses to give credit to Black Africans (who built this civilization) to this day.

Slave

Derives from the Latin word for "Slavic". The Slavics are Europeans who were enslaved throughout history by the Greeks and Romans (who sold them to Arabs and Africans in North Africa and Spain), the Vikings, and even the Germans and Russians (in more recent times). So although ignorant people will use the term "slave" to disparage people of African descent, the term is actually more associated with Europeans.

"I never knew that the Slavics were slaves to the Greeks and Romans centuries ago until I did some research on it".
