It's also known as Alfrnorsk, or Alfarnorsk, meaning "elf Norse." It originally was written in the Runic alphabet, also known as Futhark. However, when the elves adopted monotheism, they abandoned the Runic alphabet, due to Scriptural prohibitions against witchcraft. Note runes are used in witchcraft. Instead, elves now use the Latin alphabet. There's also another elven language, known as Alfsprache, or Alfdeutsche. This means "elf-german." Elves use both languages.
