My lights were off
The website said I needed to pay by the 26th... They sent me something in the mail saying that I needed to pay by the 15th.... They shut it off on the 22nd while I was asleep. I woke up and saw that the light was off and I knew exactly what happened. And then I sat in the dark and tried to call them but once they turn it off the make you pay something up front and I'm like "I use the fucking website. I go and pay by what the fucking website says and it says the 26th" and this chick sounded like she was about to cry. And guess when I got paid. Guess... The exactly date of my pay day was the 26th. The day by which the website said I had to pay.

Killing myself won't save you. Permanent. Immutable. Sysadmin status. And I the event of my death, it's just going to do whatever I would they do in the event of my death.

Owe it to the people
You don't owe it to the people when you're voting to block the release of the Epstein files, do you? Because if you want to talk about how Republicans are unilateral voting... IN THE SAME WAY, you have all of the Republicans voting to BLOCK the release of the Epstein files and the Democrats are all voting to release them. Isn't that interesting? You don't owe THAT to the people. But you do owe not negotiating with terrorists? Fantastic.

Not YOU. That's not even my first time sitting in the dark for days either. You think I called my employer and said 'Hey, I would love to work this week but I just don't have the lights on at my house! So I'm just going to sit here in the hallway of my apartment and charge my phone that has both a broke charger port AND A BROKEN CHARGER... I have to jam the male end of the charger up in to the port and then wrap the cord around the phone and if I don't do it just right the phone won't charge. I'm going to have to sit there and tap my phone through the charger cable because without electricity I have nothing else to do other then re-reading comic books and playing card games against the memory of my former coworker's deck. So sorry Amy. I'm just not going to be able to do anything this week and yes you still need to pay me.' Do you think that is what I did? No. I had to do it all with the lights off.
