Tsap
Iam "When I watch something new I usually start by breaking down the video by doing a Tsap and then writing about it. Step one is asking myself 'How does this relate to the things I've written?' and step two is asking 'How does this apply to me personally?'. The answer to the former is usually 'favorably'. The people I'm listening to are saying things that are at least adjacent to the point I was trying to illustrate. Which is probably the result of the algorithm guiding me to whatever it is I'm watching. It tends to feed people information that coincides with their beliefs or views. The answer to the latter is "not flattering". It isn't hard (at times) to liken me to people I disagree with on a fundamental level. I probably need a better process of analysis. The current one is not helping me determine whether or not I'm the good one or the bad one."

Hym "What is the appropriate response to what is actively being done to me? We are all inherently constrained but I should be constrained even further beyond the norm. Are my ideas that dangerous?"

Hym "I feel like that last one was wrong... Too crude... I don't think I framed that properly. I guess the point I'm trying to make is that you are creating the 0 sum game that you don't want people to play. And then when someone (INEVITABLY) plays you throw your hands in the air in shock and say 'Oh no! WhAt CoUlD hAvE eVeR cAuSeD tHiS tO hApPeN!?'. I mean I'm repeating myself at this point. And part of the problem is the arbitrary non-association out of spite or malice."

Hym "Well, that depends on whether or not you resign yourself to a life of serfdom and fade into obscurity. Like Gods punishment in 'Supernatural' after he loses to the Winchesters."

Stakes
Hym "Why not? Because in the context of 'self-preservation' all it does is raise the stakes. If you are aggressing upon me you leave me only two choices, allow myself to be subjugated or destroy you completely for the crime of believing that my will could not usurp your own."
Iam "That would be (I guess) the antithesis of the 'inherent value' argument but for not oppressing people. Did I say that right?"
Hym "No. But I'm sure they see what you meant. Why not oppress people? Because I'll kill you if you try and fail. And then I might like killing. So then I'll just kill some more. I'll kill and I'll kill until I've had my fill and then I'll die (but I was already going to do that anyway). Because if I don't you'll oppress me and my family until the day I die and and everyone else will let you get away with it because I'm 'The Bad One'. Or you'll have to kill me. And then you won't have anyone to oppress."

Hym "And all of the little clumps of Rat-Kings all use either guilt or ridicule to manage the horde. Because that is their greatest fear. The man who's ability to accrue influence surpasses all others and who will wield the influence for evil."
Iam "Exactly! The Anti-Christ! Right!? So it's not 'terror management' it is this deeply religious fear of the second coming of the ultimate evil. Or King Herod. He who wields influence against Christ."
