"The Winter Soldier" by Elphaba818 on fanfiction.net is such a fucking titanic movie!! (especially the mid section between chapters 1/2 to 4/5)

Girlfriend-zoning

a brother figure who adored and practically raised his 'little' (allegedly twin) sister into the strongest woman (in face of their parents clearly preferring him and neglecting her), only to 'uno reverse' at a later, adult stage by transitioning into a girl (actually trap), with lots of jealousy and 'fireworks' from the little sister's side for seemingly 'overshadowing' her, however they'd continue to share the closest bond (like female ranma and akane in the 1989 anime) pls don't mind da lenght 🙃🙃
