A musical genre originating in Bristol, UK in the 1990s. It was originally informally known by the British music press as "the Bristol sound". The music is characterized by downtempo beats, smooth synths and ethereal (usually female) vocals. The style combines elements of hip-hop and jazz with rock and shoegaze/dream pop. To a lesser extent, the sound also borrows from house and reggae.
Although these days there are few new trip-hop acts, the genre has been very influential upon countless hip-hop and electronica acts, such as DJ Shadow, Gorillaz, Air and pretty much all dubstep artists.

Arabs form a distinct yet diverse ethnic group, unified by the fact that most (although not all) speak one of the many dialects of the Arabic language. The majority of Arabs are Muslims, although many are Christians, and a small but growing number are atheists.
Countries in which the majority of the population are ethnically Arabs include Western Sahara, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Yemen, Oman and Kuwait.
There are also approximately 12 million Arabs in Brazil, 1.4 million in the State of Israel and 1.2 million in the USA. In the USA, only 24% of Arabs are Muslims, while 63% are Christians (most of the rest are nonreligious).
Only about 2% of the population of Iran are Arabs, with the majority of the population being Persians (who are completely different to Arabs). Less than 1% of the population of Afghanistan are Arabs, with the majority being Pashtuns (who are also completely different).

A hipster who primarily listens to underground/experimental hip-hop (usually along with IDM, trip-hop and dubstep; often along with some mainstream hip-hop as well).
Often wears retro Nike trainers, gold chains (often comically oversized under the pretense of irony), wide-framed glasses (even if they don't need them to see) and skinny jeans. Also known to sport unusual haircuts, including afros, mohawks and buzz cuts.
Usually, Caucasian or East Asian, but often also black or mixed race. Regardless of race, always overuses supposedly "street" slang such as "dope", "ill", "sick" and "wack".
