environmentalism

An attempt to solve problems that originated several hundreds of years ago due to the large-scale industrialization of North America, Europe, East Asia, and Oceania. In other words, crazy schemes that involve stopping global climate change and (at some point) touting the virtue of pre-industrial societies.

I was once talking to an environmentalist, and apparently it doesn't take much to save the planet. All you need to do is install fluorescent light bulbs in your house to help the cause of environmentalism.

Someone who's just like a hard-core right-winger, except they want people to believe that they thought about things and then came to this conclusion.

I was talking to a paleoliberal the other day, and somehow the conversation morphed into a heated debate about how African countries are poor because of lower average IQ. The fact that they blamed it on culture was no comfort.

Any time I talk to a feminist, they tell me to stop complaining that I can’t get laid and do something other than software for a living.
