Trading Rooks 

A chess term meaning exchanging of Rook with your opponent's rook during a chess game.

Trading Rooks was used in the Limited series of a chess movie titled The Queen’s Gambit.

Trading Rooks also means getting Involved in an intimate relationship or entanglement.
I had to exchange my rooks as the king side was getting exposed.

Name of a world chess champion notable of crushing his opponents in equal position or endgame.

Being Carlsened means losing a chess position evaluated as equal.

This is the style of Magnus Carlsen; pressing and grinding for win in an equal position.
He Carlsened him, meaning he won a game with equal evaluation.

You will get carlsened easily in the endgame.
