pain in the ass

Having to debate with your parents to get more screen time to be had on your smartphone. Usually you experience this phenomenon if you're born into the first generation to grow up with smartphone, e.g. if you're a 2004-born kid whilst your parents were born in the 1970's and have had different childhood than yours. Henceforth, your parents have lived several decades without having any smartphone in their hands. Thus, your parents don't understand what it is like to exert the effort to get screen time to be had on smartphone during childhood.
Getting extra screen time is such a pain in the ass! My parents just don’t get how important my smartphone is for connecting with friends and catching the latest YouTube videos.

digital media

An IT term that refers to content created, stored, and distributed in digital format. The term has an unfortunate etymological coincidence with the Latin phrase "digitus medius", meaning "middle finger", which humorously highlights the prevalence of inappropriate content swimming on the Internet.
While digital media encompasses a vast array of creative works, the term's unfortunate etymology reminds us of the less savory aspects of the internet.

A Chinese-Indonesian dish consisting of fillet chicken with sweet-and-sour sauce with unfortunate etymology where the name of this particular dish sounds like "kolokan", i.e. the Indonesian slang term for "spoiled" which is a synonym of more commonly used Indonesian word "manja".
I ordered koloke at a Chinese restaurant, but I couldn't help but chuckle at how its name sounds like 'kolokan', even though it's a delicious dish!
