Mortal Combat Universe
A backronym for MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), humorously referring to the overwhelming amount of violence in Marvel's latest movie "Deadpool" compared to pre-existing MCU releases.
With all the violence and crude humor in 'Deadpool', I joked that we’ve entered the Mortal Combat Universe—who knew Marvel could get this wild?

father/daddy distinction
The distinction where the word "father" is primarily used in textbooks while "Daddy" in movies. This distinction has first existed in the 2025 Indonesian movie "Panggil Aku Ayah" (meaning "Call Me Father"), which is an adaptation of the 2020 Korean movie "Pawn".
In the classroom, we learned about the father/daddy distinction, and it was hilarious to see how the same character was referred to differently in the movie!

screen time resolution effect
The phenomenon where children are more accepting of new screen time limits imposed by parents during significant periods such as New Year, birthdays, the start of the school year, or Ramadan, compared to normal days like a busy Wednesday.
