safe gay

Also spelled "safegay," this refers to implied homosexuality in a fictional work done subtly enough to be marketed towards a mostly straight audience or to children. This usually occurs when the creators don't want to cause controversy. or the higher-ups wanted them to tone it down if the plan was originally to show it more obviously.

Usually, it's hard to catch the first time around, but becomes more obvious each time you consume that media.

Coined by Stacy on the YouTube channel, Geek Remix.
It took Sarah a couple seasons to catch the "safe gay" in her favorite television show, but once she noticed it, it was cemented in her mind.

drink yourself sideways

Drinking so much alcohol that you can no longer stand properly and are stumbling and leaning to the side like a zombie. You couldn’t hide this level of intoxication if you tried, and it’s only a matter of time before you fall over and hurt yourself.
1. “I really want you to come to this party, but please don’t drink yourself sideways this time.”

2. Eddie drank himself sideways last Tuesday and didn’t realize the cashier denied the sale for more beer. He just stood there.

vape boy

Someone who makes vaping their entire life, but is neither a vape god or a vape hipster. They tend to wear snapbacks and clothes that may have their vape company of choice's logo, and often sport undercuts. If they are able to grow facial hair, they tend to have goatees. A vape boy is commonly a hypebeast as well.

Even if they started vaping to quit cigarettes, they are quickly absorbed into the lifestyle and are indistinguishable from people who started vaping as a fashion statement. They are more preoccupied with looking cool than vaping safely, leading to many "hilarious" stories about their vapes catching fire or the time they puked from too much nicotine.
A vape boy sat relaxed on the bench while blowing billowing clouds . Every so often, he'd look around to see if people saw how big they got, but his shades hid that fact. He sincerely hoped someone did.

little grim

1. A term used when someone says something that is too bleak or depressing for that particular situation. It's generally used in a way that implies that person should tone it down, but in a way that isn't as harsh.

2. A term of endearment for a black dog. This is a reference to the grims from Harry Potter, which are mythical black dogs said to be omens of death. Calling your dog a little grim is similar to calling your black cat a familiar in that it is poking fun at the popular image of the animals.
1. Person A: "Dude, those ropes would be pretty good to hang yourself with!"

Person B: "That's a little grim, dude. This is a pirate ship ride. There are children here."

2. "Here's a picture of my little grim! He's a black lab."

Stretched child

A teenager or adult that has such a strong baby face that they look like a kid in photographs from the neck up, but they are an average adult height or taller and may have adult body proportions. It is strong enough to cause the uncanny valley, especially if it’s a man with a beard.
Haley Joel Osment and Jojo Siwa are notorious stretched children.

wainboarding

The act of training a small child under the age of 5 to skateboard or surf. Wainboarding comes from the Irish slang term “wain” which means child. Because the children are so young, they usually stand crouched a lot lower on the board than someone older, and have a different way of riding on the board for that reason.

weaponized dysphoria

When a transgender individual uses their gender dysphoria as an excuse to get what they want or to emotionally manipulate another individual. Weaponized dysphoria is commonly used against parents, friends, other transgender people, and romantic interests. Sometimes weaponized dysphoria can come in the form of putting down another transgender person's appearance to make themselves feel better.

Most transgender people do not use weaponized dysphoria, however the ones that do will negatively impact other transgender people and people's view on transgender people as a whole.
A transgender person is using weaponized dysphoria when they accuse a cisgender person of making them feel dysphoric and ugly because he or she does not want to date them.

A transgender boyfriend telling his transgender girlfriend that she has no boobs and has the squarest jaw he's ever seen is an example of weaponized dysphoria because he is purposefully increasing her dysphoria to lessen his own.
