Gong the Alligator
When your boss or owner the company you work for belligerently attempts to hype up the workers, but instead causes everyone to waste time by making fun of their insincere and lame efforts. Could also refer to the act of screaming and yelling on a sales floor while everyone else just stares at you while you make a fool of yourself.
