(e.g: The chosen one will come to save the Earth with their lightning powers, in the future)

A prophet who failed their divine mission.

(e.g: Mohammed failed at converting humanity to Islam. Oh, he must just be a fallen prophet like a shooting star that fell out of the sky and went BOOM).
