The term was popularized by the famous Tampa Bay shock-jock Bubba the Love Sponge as a radio friendly way to talk about getting high when marijuana was illegal. Inspired by the famous foil panned Jiffy Pop popcorns’ commercial jingle - “gather round the Jiffy Pop”.

BUBBA : “Hey Manson, where are Ned and tuddle?”

MANSON: “I think they’re cooking some Jiffy Pop.”

BUBBA: “Tell em to bring it in the studio I’m starving!!!”

A particularly harsh cutdown for someone with yellow dirty teeth. The phrase was coined by Bubba the Love Sponge (the famous radio shock jock) in reference to co-host Patrick “tuddle” Fowler’s yellow smile.

He is a multi-talented member of the long running comedy radio show “The Bubba the Love Sponge Show” based in Tampa Bay, Florida. He is known as “the best parody man” in radio, as evidenced by his prolific output of songs and comic bits.
