Generally is a piece of wood with something burnable on it to produce light in a area for a time. In video games they never burn out.

Is also basically a giant heavy duty flashlight to again, light up a area.

It can also be another name for a flamethrower.

Guy1: "great, we lost power, do you have the torch?"
Guu2: "yeah, it's right here."

2) A kid who will destroy a store because they didn't have candy canes. Or when they don't get their way.
