IND-H

IND-H (Ind-H) is Indanyl Hydride, or Indane. It is used in the synthesis of Indanyl Bromide (IND-Br, Ind-Br), IndanylMethyl Chloride (IND-MeCl, Ind-MeCl), and Indanyl-2-Propanone(IND2P, Ind2P). It is also used in the synthesis of IAP (IndanylAminoPropane) and IMAP (IndanylMethylAminoPropane).

TP-H

TP-H is ThioPhenyl Hydride or Thiophene. It's commonly used in synthesis of TP-Br (Thiophenyl Bromide), TP-MeCl (Thiophenyl Methyl Chloride), and TP2P (ThioPhenyl-2-Propanone).

TP-MeCl

TP-MeCl is ThioPhenyl-Methyl Chloride (or Thiobenzyl chloride, TB-Cl). It is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of TP2P (ThioPhenyl-2-Propanone) through a grignard reaction of Thiophenylmethylmagnesium chloride with acetonitrile and hydrochloric acid work-up. TP-MeCl is made by chloromethylation of Thiophene (TP-H, TPH, Thiophene, Thiophenyl Hydride).

I synthesized TP-MeCl using TP-H and chloromethylation. Then I synthesized TP2P.

TP-Br

TP-Br is 2-ThioPhenyl Bromide. TP-Br (2-ThioPhenyl Bromide, 2-thienylbromide, and 2-Bromothiophene) can be synthesized by bromination of Thiophene (TP-H, ThioPhenyl Hydride) with bromine in Carbon Tetrachloride. TP-Br is used as an intermediate to synthesize TP2P (ThioPhenyl-2-Propanone) by reacting it with ethyl acetoacetate and sodium ethoxide and CuI (Copper iodide) catalyst.

I synthesized TP2P using the TP-Br and ethyl acetoacetate.
